The New Joan Rivers

Humor seems to be the most popular tactic for the super bowl commercials and GoDaddy.co is no exception. They are known for having beautiful women on their commercials such Jillian Michaels and Danica Patrick but the super bowl ad they aired featured their new GoDaddy.co girl. Of all people...Joan Rivers...really? Her "new body" was the tactic to get viewers to sign up for a domain name on GoDaddy.co. What is most interesting about GoDaddy.co is how they use their air time. Because they are known for their hot commercials, they advertise that there are special versions and other commercials that you can view exclusively on their website. GoDaddy.co does this in hopes that people will register on their site while they are visiting to view the commercials. Definitely a clever tactic that I am sure works considering the super bowl had a record breaking viewer count this year. Check out the commercial on their web site if you haven't seen it.
