United States Olympic Committee and Ad Council Launch Anti-Steroid Social Media Campaign and National Sweepstakes

The United States Olympic Committee has launched a social media campaign that is geared towards teenagers against the use of steroids. The Play Asterisk Free anti-steroids campaign was originally launched in 2008 that had radio, tv, print and internet ads. This launch will include a Facebook and Twitter page as well as banner ads. The ads will include teens, high school teams, college students and aspiring Olympians to be steroid free. There will also be a sweepstakes for teens that starts on February 7th and runs for 5 weeks with chances to win branded Olympic gear. The launch of the social media campaign will direct and be around the target market of teens.
