A leak from the 2011 Reebok planning catalog shows that 11 NHL franchises are planning on introducing new uniforms for the upcoming season. Some of these include the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers. This comes only a few seasons after the RBK Edge jerseys were introduced in the first place, which was a drastic change for most all the franchises in the NHL. Is this just a marketing ploy to sell more jerseys, or a genuine initiative to revive a franchises' image?
