LeBron James and Karma

Until yesterday, following his departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James and the Miami Heat have won 18 of their last 19 games, after playing the Cavaliers on December 2. The Cavaliers on the other hand, have nearly done the complete opposite, posting a record of 1-19 since playing the Heat. As many are aware the Owner of the Cavaliers, Dan Gilbert was furious with LeBron's "decision." He made sure to let it be known by sending a letter to the fans of Cleveland calling LeBron a coward, narcissist, etc. saying his curse will go with him to Miami and he even went as far as guaranteeing the city of Cleveland a ring before the self-titled former 'king' wins one. On Tuesday January 12 Cleveland was handed one of the most embarrasing beatdowns I have witnessed in the NBA. The Lakers destroyed them by a score of 112-57. LeBron felt it would be appropriate to tweet "karma is a b****..Gets you every time. It's not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!" These are two 'professionals' clearly handling things in the wrong ways. Crazy enough, the day following LeBron's tweet the Heat's hot streak was snapped by the LA Clippers (not the Lakers) who came into the game with a 12-24 record. The Heat gave up a season high 44 points in the first quarter and lost by a score of 111-105. To add salt to the wound LeBron James rolled his ankle late in the game and was seen limping through the final minutes. LeBron may decide to keep his mouth and twitter quiet in the future, but probably not.
