Super Bowl Ad Time Line I-XLIV

In 1967, when Kansas City and Green Bay played in the first Super Bowl ever a :30 commercial cost $37,500... 44 years later you would be lucky to get the same ad space for $3 million. Brands were skeptical to buy such expensive slots in the early years, but the ones that did saw the rewards. People now tune in just to see what spectacular commercials are going to be displayed by the top world's most well known brands. I believe the Super Bowl is America's biggest media display every year and this year 100+ million are expected to tune in. In just four short hours history is made. My grandparents still talk about the mean Joe Greene and Joe Namath commercials. What commercials and brands will we remember and retell to our children?
