As expected, the New York Jets' upset of the New England Patriots on Sunday was a smashing ratings success.
CBS' broadcast of the Jets' 28-21 win drew a 26.2 rating, which was up 13% from last year. It was the highest-rated Sunday afternoon divisional round game since 1995.
It also drew the highest rating of any divisional round game since a matchup of the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers in 1997 on Fox.
