The Lingerie Football League is a fairly new sporting league that is starting to catch the eye of the national audience. The league started simply as a Pay Per View event that was held at halftime of the Super Bowl and has now grown into a season long 10 team sporting event. This has been able to happen because of the promotions that are used on social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook. The LFL uses these venues to promote their league and teams to a larger audience, and more importantly to their target audience.
