NFL's Collective Fumbling

Is an NFL lockout inevitable for 2011-12? The NFL collective bargaining agreement is set to expire on March 4. In a worst-case scenario, the entire 2011-12 campaign would disappear, resulting in millions of dollars in ad revenue lost. Even if no games are actually played the NFL will still collect its rights fees. ESPN, FOX, CBS, NBC, and DirecTV will need to come up with around $4 billion regardless of whether there are any games for them to air. How will networks make up for this loss? What will they air... and will NCAA Football become most watched and more profitable than the NFL this year?
