Travis Pastrana goes NASCAR

NASCAR goes extreme! Travis Pastrana decided to partner with long time NASCAR driver, Michael Waltrip, taking his career once again to the next level. Travis is planning on attending the NASCAR Nationwide Series in Indianapolis and the X Games in Los Angeles, all in a summer’s time. Right now his focus is on mastering a 720 at the Moto X Best Trick, a trick never landed in competition.

Pastrana is taking on new responsibilities partnering with Waltrip. Typically drivers are asked not to do what Travis does everyday… bungee jumping, cliff-jumping, things of that nature. His main concern with entering the new sport is the hype for what could be a disaster. He states, “ Honestly, it’s about getting in there and trying to do the best we can, and earning the respect of these other guys. You need the other guys to work with you. NASCAR is a team sport even if they’re not on your team.”
