Everyone in the world would be more than upset to find out they tore their MCL.
Not Jay Cutler.
Cutler injured his left knee in the first half of Sunday's NFC title game against Green Bay and left for good after the first series of the third quarter. He was replaced by Todd Collins, who was replaced by Caleb Hanie in the Bears' 21-14 loss.
Cutler received a lot of criticism for exiting the game. Maurice Jones Drew tweeted, "Hey I think the urban meyer rule is effect right now... When the going gets tough........QUIT.." Deion Sanders also said, "Folks i never question a players injury but i do question a players heart".
Do you think Jay Cutler really tore his MCL or were the Chicago Bears public relations crew in full effect Monday morning?
Either way, I don't think anyone will be going to Jay Cutler's Super Bowl party this year. Except for maybe... Steve Bartman.
