The NFL has been talking about the end of the CBA on March 4 for a long time. The problem is that they are not really doing anything about it; its a lot of talk and no action. Cromartie, the Jets cornerback was explicitly calling out the NFL and their lack of efforts this morning. He is actually a free agent but he can't start talking about offers right now because everyone is skeptical of the future of the CBA. On the other hand, the Jets coach has challenged his players to continue to workout over the summer and keep an eye on each other. Last year they had 100% attendance at summer workouts and he expects this summer to be no different. The players understand the importance of continuing to work out even though they don't know their future. Ultimately, Cromartie was telling the NFL that they need to stop worrying about the money aspect and figure something out because a potential lockout puts a lot of peoples careers on the line, not just the players.
