With the news that there will most likely be an NBA lock out next year there has been many reports by international NBA star that if there is a lock out they will join there country's basketball team until the lock out ends. The NBA's biggest international player Dirk Nowitzki is considering going to play for Germany. If more stars end up doing this it will give European sports a lot of publicity and strengthen the NBA's fans worldwide. A lot of the NBA organizations are worried that there stars could go overseas to play basketball and in danger there health, however i feel that it would be good for these stars to continue to play basketball if they are not in the NBA. It will be more competitive overseas if a lot of international stars went overseas.
