The Eagles franchise tag Michael Vick in order to retain him as their quarterback. Vick would make an estimated $20 million next season provided there is no lockout. Vick is well-known for his fall from grace, and this season's rise from that fall. He led the Eagles to a 10-7 season and was selected to the Pro Bowl. This puts backup quarterback Kevin Kolb in a pickle. The Eagles will likely look to trade Kolb to gain value. Unfortunately Kolb cannot be traded until there is a new collective bargaining agreement.
