Its official, Bart Scott has provided the sports media world with my new favorite post game interview. Bart Scotts interview was priceless from start to finish, starting out with a bang by calling out Tom Jackson and Keyshawn Johnson, and then declaring what us faithful Jets fans have been saying all week, that “anybody can be beat.” Yes I understand that the last time the Jets went to Foxborough they got handled, but that was a different day and a different game. All week all everyone said was how the New York Jets didn’t have a chance. Not this week. The New York Jets backed up all their talk, all their media hype, and all the big expectations that only us Jets fans share. Bart Scott expressed my exact emotions perfectly and as usual added his own style and humor to it (refer to the nosebleed line). Maybe it’s time that the Jets start getting some more respect that they deserve, and after beating Peyton Manning and Tom Brady back to back on the road in the playoffs, the New York Jets have two more opportunities to end all the talk from the “non-believers.” Now the road to respect lies through Pittsburgh and whoever makes it to Dallas.
