Post @KingJames-Gate, Is Twitter Ruining Pro Sports?

When the Cleveland Cavaliers had a major loss to the LA Lakers Lebron James had a lot to say about this via Twitter. Lebron tweeted that his former team basically got the karma that they deserved. Many fans were extremely angry about this situation feeling that it was selfish and childish of the NBA player. Other stars in sports like Chad Ochocinco are also very involved in Twitter and speak their mind on the website. Twitter is a place where these athletes are creating and sharing their personal feelings with millions of followers.
Twitter has shown great impact on drastic situations and raising awareness. Most people who look up to athletes are in the younger generations and are the ones who are apart of the Twitter world. The problem people are having with this is that the athletes aren't acting like role models and are acting more like Hollywood celebrities. The fear isn't that sports ratings are going to go down but that the athletes are forgetting what they are famous for. The athletes should focus on their sport and talents rather then focusing on drama that comes along with being famous.
